Mr. President,
If the intent is to "spread the wealth" would it not be more efficient to have employers give a mandatory ten percent pay increase to their employees? Would that not be more effective then filtering our money though the government in the form of taxes, where less of the people's dollars would be available for them? It is estimated that at least one third of all tax dollars are wasted by government( Grace report 1984) Would the people's wealth not increase if such a plan were implemented? Would not the taxes collected increase automatically under such a plan? Would not the economy improve, if every American made more money? Would this not take money from the "rich" and give it to the workers as you claim to want? Does this plan not deliver the same effect as a tax cut? If you are going to " remake America" into a socialist society shouldn't you at least improve on the failed socialist model, as I have suggested here?
Do you truly care sir, about the American people, as you have so many times stated in front of crowds of them? Why, then do you intend, through your policies, to injure the American people and their decedents? Why, do you plan to steal the wealth of the productive and give it to the unproductive? How, do think this fair and just?Please, act toward America's future responsibly Mr. President? Please, stop increasing our debt, and devaluing our currency?
